About Morni Hills:
The Morni Hills are offshoots of the Shivalik range of the Himalayas, which run in two parallel ranges. The village of Morni lies on the mountainside, at 1,220 meters (4,000 ft) above mean sea level. Among the spurs of the hills lie two lakes commonly known as Tikkar Tals, the larger of these being about 550 meters (1,800 ft) long and 460 meters (1,510 ft) broad, and the smaller around 365 meters (1,198 ft) either way. From Tourist point, there are Morni Fort Museum, Morni Hill Waterfall (only in rainy season), Morni Pheasant Breeding Center and Morni Hill Archaeological Temple Site (Thakur Dwar temple and Bhuri Singh Deota temple) and 50,000 hectare herbal forest. The best time to visit Morni in India is from January through March and September through December.

- About Farm: “The Hermitage Farm Badisher – Morni” is a quaint eco-farm in Shivalik rangeof the Himalayas spread over one acre area with location in the middle of forest on Badisher-Dhaaman Road, Badisher, Morni which is about 38 Km from Panchkula and 48 KM from Chandigarh.
- Geographical Surroundings: With a front of about 200 feet on road, it is facing to East with the Ghaggar River and Himachal Pradesh side valley of spread of about 20 Km. With the forest on its North, South & West sides, it is enclosed through Angle/RCC pillars chain link fencing for complete safety from animals. The exact location of Hermitage Fram is 500 meters on Badisher-Dhaaman Road which is on link road from a place known as Jodian on the main Panchkula –Morni Road. The natural beauty and wildlife of this location are mesmerizing. The site is in a peaceful and isolated area having natural beauty of greenery and hilly landscape all around.
- Attractions around it: There are lots of tourist attractions in nearby areas. A beautiful natural lake named as Tikkar Taal is at around 20 KMs motor able distance. The historical Morni Fort with wildlife pavilions is not more than 11 KMs from The Hermitage Farm. For the guests who are little bit adventurists, option of jungle tracking is available with two entry points provided at the top back side of Hermitage. Similarly, one can walk down to the river Ghaggar which may take around 10 minutes. Coming back from the river may further take almost 15 minutes. And for the guests who simply believe in enjoying nature, listening birds’ chirping in a leisurely manner, there is a terrace with gazebo and outdoor furniture as well a swing. You may also remain with nature while lying down in bedroom as hills, trees, river and sunrise is visible from there through the glass windows. While sitting in open compound of the farm, nature’s beauty is always within sight from all sides of The Hermitage.
- Parking and campus illumination: With direct approach from main road, it has a gated parking for 5-6 vehicles. The entire campus is provided with high masts LED Street lights. Roads to Harmitage Fram are quite good and accessible from Raipur Rani, Gurudwara Nadda Sahab as well Chandimandir sides
- A cook is available round the clock to take care of your appetite with tasty meals. Well equipped kitchen with all the necessary utensils and crockery is available at the site for cooking yourself or with help of the cook. In case you feel like to cook or have some special veg or non-veg dish cooked up, please fork-out extra actual cost.
